This week, over 30 Black aspiring educators will begin their journey in ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø’s Master of Teaching program as the inaugural cohort of the Black Future Educators Pathway. Designed to bridge gaps in representation and access, BFEP ensures equitable admissions and comprehensive student support.

A research collaboration with ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø, University of Manitoba, Lakehead University, and Simon Fraser University will present their findings publicly on May 13th.

The 2024 annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) will see over 100 ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø faculty and students present their research.

ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø honours distinguished alumni, ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Professors Clare Brett and Antoinette Gagné on their retirement day. The entire community extends its heartfelt congratulations to our two educators, researchers and leaders for their impactful careers in education.

Doctoral students Sarah Jones and Rebecca Schmor teamed up with Professor Julie Kerekes to work on an edited volume for applied linguistics.
